These terms apply to everyone who books or rides with The Electric Voyage, Inc. ("The Electric Voyage," "we," "us") through TheElectricVoyage.com, by phone, or by text. By booking, you agree to these terms.
Bookings and payment
Reservations are made online at TheElectricVoyage.com and paid at the time of booking. Current prices are listed on our website. A booking is for the date, time, boat and ride length shown in your confirmation.
Cancellations and refunds
More than 10 days in advance: full credit toward a future rental (valid 3 months) or a full refund minus credit card processing fees.
5–10 days in advance: full credit toward a future rental (valid 3 months) or a refund minus a 5% cancellation fee.
1–4 days in advance: refund minus a 10% cancellation fee (credits not available).
Less than 24 hours notice: 80% cancellation fee (20% refund). No-shows forfeit the full amount.
Weather (NOAA Small Craft Advisory or Warning): full credit toward a future rental (valid 3 months) or a full refund minus a 3% processing fee.
Refunds go to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Safety, waiver and driving
The person driving must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license. Every renter must sign our charterer waiver before launch and complete our on-dock driver training. Children may not steer the boat. Each boat holds up to 12 people including the driver, per U.S. Coast Guard rules. We may refuse or end a rental for unsafe behavior, alcohol misuse, or unsafe weather.
Returning the boat
Boats must be returned on time to the dock you launched from. Decorations must not include balloons, tape, glitter, confetti or loose petals.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in on our booking form, The Electric Voyage, Inc. will send text messages about your reservation, including booking confirmations, ride-day directions, reminders, waiver reminders, and replies to your messages. We do not send marketing texts through this program. Message frequency varies, usually 1–3 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you will receive one final confirmation text. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 310-962-9255 or TheElectricVoyage@gmail.com. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of booking. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message opt-in consent with third parties for marketing purposes.

Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always posted on this page.
